How much does a 1st birthday party setup cost?
Most 1st birthday setups range from $200 (backdrop + balloons) to $500+ (full themed package). Our Cake Smash Hero combo is $378 with backdrop, marquee "1", balloon garland and plinths. Send your Wishlist for a tailored quote.
Do you do themed first birthdays like Bluey or Cocomelon?
Yes — we have 20+ pre-painted theme backdrops including Bluey, Cocomelon, Disney Princess, Paw Patrol and Spiderman. Custom themes are available too via our custom cutouts or custom props service.
Can I hire just a balloon garland for my 1st birthday?
Yes — balloon-only hire is available through our balloon brand Kayalex. Build your garland online, pick your colours, and we deliver or you collect.
How long can we keep the hire pieces?
Standard hire is daily or weekend. Most 1st birthdays are afternoon events so weekend hire works perfectly — delivery Friday/Saturday, pickup Sunday/Monday. Multi-day hires available on request.
Do you set up at home or only at venues?
Both — most of our 1st birthdays are at home in a backyard, lounge or garage setup. We bring everything we need including hand-pumps and weights. Just confirm the access details on enquiry.
